They (my detractors) don’t like it, but notice they are not out here disproving or debunking it, and its been four years already. Nor are they able to explain how the names they use (like Yisrael, Yasher’el, Yasharalah, etc.) have a meaning that even remotely fits the context of the story of the UFC battle between Ya’oh-ghakab (Jacob) and the angelic man from heaven.
Simply put, Ya’oh-ghakab handled himself and won that fight. He won it by using a Khabib Nurmagomedov submission hold, even though the angel cheated and resorted to using his powers and knocked the Patriarch’s hip out of joint which popped the hamstring muscle in his thigh. That must have hurt like hell. But even that wasn’t enough to make the Patriarch let the angel man go. He tapped out!
So the angel gave the Patriarch his props, and showed respect, and blessed him with a new name to signify this great victory. The name utilizes a single letter diminutive spelling of the tetragrammaton. Same thing occurs in several other biblical theophoric names not just this one. This particular name is a vocative expression which calls out to YA’OH in order to activate His attention to the fact that Patriarch has prevailed and has now become a “Prince” among men and with God.
