YAOHSHARAL.COM – The terms pardos and pretos mean “browns,” and blacks” in Brazil, respectively. According to a survey released this month by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), from 2012 to 2018 the number of people defining themselves as pardos and pretos has jumped by almost 5 million in that country.
Up until 2014 the whites in Brazil, população branca, were the majority in the country. However, since 2015, people self-identifying as pardos and pretos, i.e. OMPP (Only Middle Passage People, the descendants of the survivors of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade), has accounted for the majority of the population – increasing from 89.6 million in 2012 to 96.7 million in 2018.
Prophetically, the scriptures declare in Deuteronomy 33:23 that the victims of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade who were shipped to South America belong to the tribe of Napthalay (Naphtali):
In 2018, Brazil had 19.2 million people who self-identified as OMPP which is 4.7 million more than in 2012 (Source: IBGE). This is a 32.2% increase for that period, and is clearly a trend.
