Pleiades, Orion, Arcturus… huh?

Chaymah (the so-called Milky Way)

How do the heathens take our word chaymah (not kimah) and put “Pleiades” as the English translation in Ay’ob (Job) 9:9, 38:1; and then change it to “seven stars” in Ghamos (Amos) 5:8? Answer: Because the heathens didn’t/don’t have a clue what this word actually means. So they ran to their heathen heritage and to their Greek astrology and to their Greek mythology for answers. The answers they got are wrong.

The name “Pleiades” comes stright from ancient Greek. It refers to the so-called seven heathen sister goddesses who are the daughters of Pleione, another Greek whore goddess. The ancient Greek sailors who sailed the Mediterranean Sea looked up at the stars at night, saw what they thought was a cluster of seven stars (its actually way more than seven), and since this cluster was useful in helping them navigate the sea, these misguided heathens worshiped this star cluster as if they were seven sisters named Asterope, Merope, Electra, Maia, Taygeta, Celaeno, and Alcyone.

The so-called Pleiades

Fast forward to 1611. The forty-seven European bible scholars Queen James hired to make the English KJV put “Pleiades” and “seven stars” as their translation of the Ghabaray word chaymah for no other reason than that it made sense to them that our ancestors were just as stupid, ignorant, and star struck as their heathen ancestors were.

The ancient Ghabaraym, our ancestors, did not give names to stars or names to imaginary constellations which are purely arbitrary groupings of stars into the shapes of inanimate objects, or animals, or people. They did not personify stars, did not worship stars, did not believe stars were gods and goddesses. They knew better than that and for the ones that didn’t they were warned by the prophets not to imitate heathen star gazers (Yaram-Ya’oh [Jeremiah] 10:2).

So let’s correct the heathen mess shall we? The word chaymah refers to the hazy bands of light seen arching across the night sky. It is made up of stars but they cannot be individually distinguished by the naked eye. The heathens call it “Milky Way” because they ignorantly assume it to be the outer arm of a non-existing spiral galaxy that supposedly includes our non-existent solar system. They think it appears as a band because they believe we are within the band and because it is disk-shaped in its structure.

One of the ways in which we can know what words mean is by exegetical parallelism. In Ay’ob 38:11 we are told that the chaymah is made up of “bands” (not “sweet influences”!). Even the Greek LXX gets this right (desmon) in this verse.

“Do you bind the bands of the chaymah?”

In other words, are you the one holding all of this together that you see as bands of light stretching across the entire sky at night? Answer: No. Ay’ob is being put in his place and shown just how ignorant and weak he is compared to the Creator of heaven and earth. Same thing with the word chasayl which the heathens translate as “Orion” in the 1611 Queen James Virus by leaning on their heathen Greek mythology once again. It does not mean Orion!

Here is the second part of the verse:

“Or do you loose the cords of the chasayl?”

Aside from the chaymah the most conspicuous phenomena we observe about the stars is that they all move in a circle, east to west, around an imaginary axis (the north celestial pole) extending straight up from the north pole. Depending on how close you are to the north pole, many stars will never set below the horizon but will always be visible throughout the night revolving around the axis. Thus, the word chasayl (point of rotation) is not the name of a star or the name of a constellation. It is the name of the center of rotation intersected by the celestial axis. It is that point in the sky directly above the north pole around which all stars move as if they are tied with cords to the center pole of a merry-go-round.

Again, Ay’ob is being put in his place. He is not the one who binds the bands of the chaymah. Nor is he the one who can loosen the cords of the chasayl. Now have a look at how the European heathens have screwed up the next verse in Ay’ob 38:32.

“Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or Canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons” (Job 38:32 – 1611 Queen James Virus).

The heathens did not know how to translate the word mazaroth so they left it untranslated in this verse. Let this be a lesson in linguistics for all of you claiming there is no O-vowel sound in ancient Ghabaray (Hebrew). Yes there is. Heathens have wrongfully assumed the word ghaysh meant their Bear constellation which they called “Arcturus”. It is not Arcturus! There is no such thing.

The word mazaroth has nothing to do with the so-called 12 signs of the heathen zodiac or their 36 imaginary constellations. Exegetical parallelism tells us that mazaroth is not the name of a particular star. Nor is it the name of a constellation. It is the epithet for any star that appears at dawn in the eastern sky just before sunrise. It is the heliacal rising of any star or planet in its season. How do I know this? Because the next clause of the verse mentions the ghaysh and HER sons (not “his” sons). The ghaysh is any star that is the first to appear to the naked eye at night. Her sons are all the stars that appear afterwards as the nigh progresses. The LXX gets this right again in this verse. That evening star becomes the leader of all the other stars as they move east to west across the sky during the course of the night. Simple.

Again, Ay’ob is being put in check. He is not the one who determines when the mazaroth (morning star) heralds the beginning of a new day. Nor is he the one who determines the appearance of the ghaysh (evening star) that leads the rest of the stars during the night.

Leave the heathen translations to the heathens who made them and who legitimized their pagan Greek myths and pagan astrology in the process by making these translations. Seek HIM who had the prophets write the book in the pure language and go learn that language. It all starts with His name.

His name is YA’OH
Always has been. Always will be.
